Short History: Sylvia was a member of a pantheon of female nature goddesses in Discworld. After several thousands years of being worshiped by

the inhabitants of her forest, an upstart priest created a new religion revolving around male gods of industry. Another few hundreds of years

later and the forest was gone, there was a massive city in its place, and Sylvia was a homeless goddess. Enter the wizard Drake Tome, who was

on a book-buying trip through the Disc. He brought Sylvia back with him and gave her a job at The Realms.
